Teaching Assistant post for September 2018

Temporary for one year

Roselands Primary School is part of the Riviera Education Trust which is a

multi-academy trust consisting of two local primary schools: Roselands and Oldway.

We work in collaboration with Oldway in order to benefit all of the children in the

Trust. Working in partnership with other schools helps to strengthen our provision

and provide educational excellence so that every pupil has the best possible learning

experience and is prepared for future life.

 

 

The Teaching Assistant role we are looking to fill will support teachers in any designated year group. The successful applicant will ensure that every child is able to gain the most from their education by supporting them with their learning as required. We are looking for creative candidates who will make a big impact in the life and learning environment of our pupils.

The successful applicant will have a keen interest in working with children and in supporting and developing their learning.

As a member of the Roselands team you have good interpersonal skills, be flexible and focused on the needs and wellbeing of the child. You will be a team player with a ‘can do’ approach to work and a good sense of humour.

Oldway Primary School

FINANCE OFFICER – Maternity Cover to May 2019

 

The Post

 

The successful candidate will be expected to take up this post as soon as possible to ensure training is in place with the existing post holder. This is an excellent opportunity to join a committed team and an academy trust likely to expand in the near future, with the vision : ‘In Partnership to provide excellence for all our children’

 

Hours per week - based on 30 hours per week – 52 weeks per year

Daily Hours - Flexible, there may be some scope to access systems from home eg during school holidays and to work across 3 or 4 days per week subjecting to meeting work deadlines

 

Requirements of the Post

The successful candidate will undertake key financial tasks and provide support to the Director of Finance. Applicants should be mindful of relating their skills/ qualifications / experience to the person specification when completing their application.

We are looking for candidates who have strong accountancy skills backed up by experience, with an eye for detail and accuracy; who preferably have experience of working with either SIMS/FMS or commercial school financial accounting packages.

 

Salary

Salary will be pro rata and in accordance with the Riviera Education Trust Pay Policy (£20,660 - £22,658 FTE), note pay award pending 1.4.2018. This post is based on NJC scales/Torbay Grades and is Graded at scale F.
