Home Learning 20/21

Roselands Approach to Home Learning

At Roselands, we have developed a tiered approach to provide learning opportunities for any missed in-school learning time, due to the current COVID pandemic and the precautions that we are being advised to take, in order to minimise the risk of spreading the virus.

  1. If your child has developed symptoms of COVID it is important that you do not bring them to school and that you arrange for your child to be tested ASAP.  Whilst you are awaiting the test result, if your child is well enough, they should access the learning activities that are provided below.

  2. If you receive a positive test result, please inform the school ASAP.  Your child’s class teacher will then issue a further set of learning activities for your child to complete if they are well enough to do so.

  3. In the event of a school bubble, regional or national lockdown all teachers will deliver new learning through an online platform (Google classroom for year 2 - 6 and the ILD for EYFS and Year 1 pupils)
