Kents Cavern

As part of our topic ‘Captain Caveman’ classes 1J and 1/2 G all clambered aboard a coach and headed off for our visit to Kent’s Cavern. The children really enjoyed the day, especially when pretending to be archaeologists and finding not only fossils and sharks teeth but discovering gems which they were then able to take home! The children drew pictures in the style of cave paintings, found out about early man and then retold the story of Cave Baby whilst underground in the caves.
Once again we would like to thank our volunteer parents, without whose support, these trips could not take place.
