Mexican Guacamole & Salsa

In teams, the children were given two Mexican recipes to follow. They perfected their chopping skills, using very sharp knives carefully, to dice the tomatoes and other ingredients to make a salsa. They then got to work on peeling and mashing an avocado (which lots of the children had not seen before, let alone tasted), we mixed it with some additional ingredients and then came the best bit...tasting! We made our way through quite a number of nachos as we thoroughly enjoyed the outcome of all of our hard work.
