5M has come to the end of an exciting project; building a Moon Buggy! In this project, groups of children worked together to develop their teamwork skills in a Design and Technology week, where the challenge was to build a Moon Buggy to travel for 3 meters across a smooth surface, carrying 2 lego men and a mini mars bar (to keep the ‘astronauts’ alive, of course!).
The teams designed what their frame would look like, and how to propel the vehicle and what the final design would be. An extra challenge was injected into the exciting project – the children must include an electrical circuit.Needless to say, 5M rose to the challenge! As you can see, they had some fantastic, creative and different outcomes. Well done 5M!
