Science - mini beasts hunt

As part of our Science this term about Living things and their habitats, the children went on a hunt to see what animals live in our school environment.  They found snails, slugs, woodlice, flies, worms, beetles and centipedes.  They came across several spider egg sacks as well as a chrysalis for something that we could not identify.  The children were very respectful and sensitive while collecting the animals.
