If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.

Under the School Admissions Code, the admission authorities for state-funded schools and local authorities are required to consult on their admission arrangements. This helps to make sure that arrangements meet the needs of parents, children and schools.

On behalf of Roselands Primary School, Devon County Council is consulting interested parties on the proposed arrangements for admission into school during the academic year 2019-20. This includes:

  • parents of children between the ages of 2 and 18
  • Torbay Council
  • Devon County Council
  • all state-funded schools in Torbay and close to the border with Torbay
  • pre-schools and nurseries
  • local community groups
  • the local Church of England and Roman Catholic Dioceses
  • the local Member of Parliament
  • education trade unions

A copy of the admission arrangements for Roselands Primary School can be accessed below until the closing date of 5 January 2018. The views of parents of children in the area are invited.

Comments can be made to: or by writing to the Policy and Strategy Officer (Education), Room L102, County Hall, Topsham Road, Exeter, EX2 4QD

Following the consultation, the admissions authority for Roselands Primary School will formally determine the admissions policy for 2019-20. It will then be published online in the same locations by 15 March 2018. Objections against the policies can be made to the Office of the Schools’ Adjudicator until 15 May 2018.
