World Book Day 2015
At Roselands we love reading so it was great to celebrate World Book day in style this year. The children and staff all came dressed as their favourite book characters and it really was a sight to see!
Activities throughout the day such as book swapping, sharing stories, creating bookmarks and drama gave the pupils lots of opportunities to explore their favourite books and discover new authors too.
The children took part in an Extreme reading competition and had to submit photographs of them reading in unusual places. Bookmark competitions were held in each class and the standard was really high.
